My husband decided to come up north for the summer
as long as he could find a job.
And he did just that.
No matter that he'd had no experience in waiting tables, he became a server.
He serves at the formal dining room at the Princess Hotel.
Here he stands by our apartment ready for work.
Pretty classy guy in an apron, huh?
And here he is in action.
So much to learn in a short time and he is doing a great job!
He has mastered computerized ordering, timing from appetizer to entree,
and balancing a tray filled with plates of food from the kitchen to the table.
Serves many folks on cruises and has met people from all over.
One night Kathleen, Abigail and I surprised him and came in have dinner at one of his tables.
He did a wonderful time serving us our meal.
We look forward to doing it again really soon.
(And can I add how much I like eating with linen napkins and water goblets?)
